Welcome to our lab!

The Visual Computing & Learning (VCL) Laboratory at Chonnam National University conducts cutting-edge research in visual intelligence technologies. Our work primarily focuses on image recognition and understanding, supported by advancements in deep learning and machine learning. Recently, we have been particularly interested in improving the generalization of visual intelligence models and exploring the utilization and training of large-scale multimodal and vision-language models. Our ultimate goal is to apply these foundational technologies to various vision applications, contributing to the development of machine intelligence for human convenience and, ultimately, laying the groundwork for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).

[Joining Us] We are looking for highly motivated students interested in visual artificial intelligence. If you're interested in joining us, please visit the webpage for more information. "학부연구생 및 대학원생 모집" [Link]
